Barbadian reggae Buggy Nhankente will be the face of the Kia Sportage this year.
And at a recently-held press conference at the home of the brand in Barbados McEnearneyQuality Inc. (MQI), Marketing Manager Margaret Hoyte told a gathering that it was part of the company?s commitment to culture and artistes while promoting the Kia brand.
Buggy joins gospel artiste Toni Norville who is the overall brand ambassador since last year.
"Last year we also involved in Crop Over and we are again on board with Soca Royale and has already presented two Kia Koup cars to the Minister of Culture for the show. We will also be working with sporting events this year", Hoyte explained.
Buggy who is fresh from an overseas tour of Liverpool said he was pleased and happy to be associated with McEnearneyQuality Inc. and the brand and is looking forward to an excellent year.
MQI, a member of the ANSA McAl Group, are the agents for Ford, Daihatsu, Kia and the Importer for BMW in Barbados.
