Barbados has a Master Barber.
He is Seth Jordan who won the coveted title from a field of five finalists in the showdown at the Olympus Cinema recently.

LIME, MR Global, CarMax and Diamond Girls Beauty Supply, attracted barbers from across the island in the chase for the title in the competition which held prizes, a certification course and trophies for its winner.
The finalists were judged on sharpness, speed, execution and finish for 'Basic conservative and design cuts', while for funky haircuts the barbers were judged along the lines of the degree of difficulty, sharpness, execution and finish.
Jordan, the winner, who took home a prize of $3000.00, a Samsung TV celluphone, and an Oster Classic 76 machine as well as a Barber's certificate course worth $1100.00 compliments Brothers' Barber Shop said he felt good about winning and thanked the organisers for their effort and foresight at putting on such a competition aimed at giving the craft its rightful place in Barbados.
Jason Walkes who finished second won a prize of $1000.00 and a trophy, while third place Bukkiah Providence collected $500 for his efforts and a trophy. Organisers plan to make it an annual affair.
